The below provides more information on your CMAX journey.
STEP 1 - Pre-screen phone call
If you show interest in a trial, the first person you will speak with is one of our participant officers. They are here to answer any initial questions that you may have.
If you are interested in a specific trial they will ask you some additional questions to assess your eligibility. If suitable, they will book you in for a screening appointment to meet the medical team and will send you information outlining everything you need to know about the trial.
STEP 2 - Medical Screening
PART A - INFORMED CONSENT
At the clinic, you’ll have a one-on-one meeting with one of our doctors. They will answer all of your medical questions
and will talk you through the Participant Information and Consent Form. We take our duty of care seriously and the doctor will ensure you have all the information required for an informed consent.
PART B - SCREENING
During the medical screening, our clinic team will take a range of measurements (weight, height and blood pressure). They will most likely take some blood and possibly urine samples for analysis.
This is to ensure you and your body are 100% healthy to participate in the trial.
STEP 3 - INPATIENT PARTICIPATION
If your screening results meet the trial requirements, you’ll be invited to take part in the trial.
During the in-patient stay you’ll be given the trial therapy and monitored regularly.
All you need to do is kick back, relax and enjoy your stay with us. We’ll take care of the rest. Easy.
STEP 4 - Outpatient Visit
Following your stay with us, we may need you to attend some follow-up out-patient appointments, where you’ll continue to be monitored until the end of the trial.
We’ll confirm how frequently we'll need you during your pre-screen call.
STEP 5 - Reimbursement
While we know you are doing this because you are awesome and want to make a difference, it’s only right that you are compensated for your precious time.
Depending on the study, typical reimbursement is approximately $200-$400 per day.
